Product Description

This Bayou Classic 30 quart aluminum turkey fryer pot is perfect for making a moist, delicious deep fried turkey! It's ideal for users who already have an outdoor propane burner / patio stove. In addition to the 30 quart 18-gauge (1.0 mm) aluminum stockpot with vented lid, you'll also receive a perforated poultry rack with grab hook, a 12" long thermometer has a range of 50 to 750 degrees Fahrenheit so you can monitor the turkey's progress, and a 1 oz. trial seasoning injector.

This 30 quart aluminum turkey fryer pot will accept up to a 20 pound bird. Optimum frying temperature for the best results is 350 degrees Fahrenheit. A whole turkey typically takes 3 to 3 1/2 minutes per pound to fry.

Bayou Classic recommends peanut oil for frying because it has a higher flashpoint, which reduces the risk of a grease fire. Plus, peanut oil is cholesterol-free and can typically be reused more frequently than other types of oil.

To determine the proper amount of oil to deep fry your turkey in this turkey fryer pot, place the thawed turkey upside down on the poultry rack and place it in the empty pot. Then, fill the pot with water until the poultry is covered. Remove the bird and rack from the pot. Then, measure the amount of water in the pot-that's how much oil you need! This 30 quart aluminum turkey fryer pot measures 12 3/4" in diameter and is 15 3/4" high.

Please Note: For out door use only. Propane outdoor range / burner is sold separately.
